Steve is married to Catherine (Katie), they have two children - Leo and Viviana. Steve and family live right in the middle of the Mt. Horeb community.
Steve has been in the Auto Repair industry since 1983, and began working in the shop area at a local gas station as an apprentice technician. He worked at Goodyear Auto Service Center for 10 years as a technician and was also a Snap-On Sun Technical Representative for Snap-On Tool Corporation, specializing in Diagnostic Equipment Consulting, Training, and Sales.
Steve was also a Service and Repair consultant for other southern Wisconsin auto repair facilities. His experience includes installing and training customers on Computer-based Service Manuals and Shop Management systems.
Steve finally became an Auto Repair Shop owner in August of 2001, and having run a home-based automobile repair business for 10 years.
Steve's certifications and training include ASE Certified Master Auto Technician, EL-1 Engine Performance diagnostics, and Heavy Duty Trucks, among many others certifications. He has received training in several areas of the repair industry, including engine performance systems, ignition systems, fuel injection, carburetion, brakes, and suspension systems.
Steve has a strong belief in the need for quality service in the auto industry. He feels that having a staff of quality professionals to serve the local community is essential, which includes having the proper tools and facility to provide top-shelf service to his customers.
Since Steve has worked in the service industry most of his working life, he recognizes the value of honesty and integrity, and treating people fairly. Steve realizes that owning a vehicle is a large part of a customer's budget, and giving a customer a reasonable idea of how to handle their automotive investment gives him a tremendous amount of pride.
